At Helluva Rides III not only did we have some sick show rides. We also has some heart stopping, earth rattling, most deafening, helluva loud stereo systems. We hope you all didn't leave the show deaf!
The sound off was sponsored and held by Progressive Auto Sounds. Over 30 cars took to the stage to see who had the loudest stereo systems. Measured in SPL “Sound Pressure Level” a sensor is installed in the interior of the cars and hooked to meter that hooked to a computer. If you guys never saw or heard these competitions it is just insane on how loud these car car get. Two new state record was logged in Class B Pro Jonah Bates hitting 153.4DB@61hz and Class C by Donald Soares hitting 156.3DB@58hz and believe it or not these were both done in a tinny little Honda CRX!
