Our next segment on the 2011 Tokyo Auto Salon is about what we don’t normally see in the streets of the USA. The Tokyo Auto Salon had many of these micro cars aka K Cars in JDM lingle. We see why these small cars, vans or wagons are so popular after seeing the streets of Japan, and there parking situation, they don’t have much space there. Owning a compact car or larger might a be task just to park. In our previous feature on Vans, it makes you wonder where do they park those huge vans?

In the USA cars like the ever so popular Scion XB “aka the Toyota bB in Japan” is probably the first K Car to make it big in the USA. Since than more smaller type cars has be making its way into the US market like the Toyota Yaris, Smart car, Mini Cooper, soon to the released Scion IQ “aka the Toyota IQ in Japan, Scion XD, Nissan Cube and Honda Fit “aka the Jazz in Japan” In Japan you will see all sorts of K Cars that you will never see in the USA like the Wagon R that is probably the most popular in Japan.
