Although we missed the drift action out side of the 2011 Tokyo Auto Salon. We did catch some photos of the pit area and some drift cars on the show floor.
Just like VIP, Drifting was also the creators of this style that has grown to a national sport around the world. Its not about who can get around the track the fastest but who can execute it the best. You can call it more of an art than a race. It about who can slide around a turn the smoothest. You are judged by judges and not a stop watch.
These cars are race cars with horse power, flush fitted big lips wheels, huge body kits, super stiff suspension and most of all you cant forget the sponsors stickers.
