Sorry for the long wait for part 2 of Wekfest Long Beach. If you haven’t seen part one make sure to check out our first post before you check this one out.

Before we move on!

Lets talk about ENGINE BAYS!

There was a lot of quality and attention to detail at Wekfest! We here the rave about wheel fitment so much these days and ton of sites and blogs just dedicated to wheel fitment, flushness, camber, poke and tire stretch. One thing that many forget in building a show car is they put so much attention to there fitments they forget about an area that has the most points on a judges score sheet.

There was some out of the world engine bays at WekFest. This one really caught our eyes! Reminds us of an Hawaiian Bracelet!

We see many enthusiast over look there engine bays. Some were totally insane, engines swaps, and shaved engine bays. What we took notice at Wekfest Long Beach to is some sick engine bays that nothing like we have ever saw in Hawaii. So let give some of these engine bays some love! We are sure Hawaii will take notes and set the bar even higher by the time Wekfest hits the shores of Hawaii.

This engine bay was a work of art!

Is this really a hybird? WTF Turbo Battery Packs!

Sometimes these tucked wire shaved engine bays make you wonder "does this car run or what?"

This was total JDM.. we only have this pic but this was a right hand and drive

HACHI DA?? Toyota powered by Honda!

TWO JAY ZEE

Love the burnt look!

Not your normal SCION! Rear wheel drive 2JZ powered box?

Even the newer model car now days with plastic covers over the whole engine bay can have some added engine by mods. Might be simple but look very clean with the plastics color matched. We know we saw some of this already in Hawaii.. but lets see who kicks it up a notch for WEKFEST Hawaii!
